Short-Run Disc

Short-Run Discs Supplied Bulk

HangOut Media compliments our short-run CD and DVD duplication with a wide range of packaging alternatives. If you don't need disc packaging we are happy to provide you with 'bulk' CDs or DVDs in any quantity you require.

Standard quantities for our short-run CD and DVD duplication is up to (and including) 100 units, but if you require more than 300 units you should consider getting a quote on our professionally replicated discs. Minimum order for replicated discs begins at 100 units.

What is meant by "short-run"?

Short-run is just another way to say "small" or "low" quantity. For orders of less than 400 units we duplicate your discs because this is the most cost-effective way to provide small quantities of CDs or DVDs. Duplication is a process where the information on your supplied master disc is copied to a blank pre-manufactured CDR or DVDR disc.

What if I want pressed/replicated discs instead of duplicated discs?

Due to the amount of set-up costs and set-up time required for manufacturing pressed/replicated discs we have a minimum order requirement of 1000 units. 
 


What does "bulk" mean?

Supplying you with 'bulk' discs means you get discs only... with no packaging... just discs.

Can you provide graphic design services?

Yes. We can provide you with graphic design services. Pricing depends on the amount of work you require so please contact us to discuss your design needs.

Do the disc graphics actually get 'printed' on the disc?

Yes. The standard method we use for printing our short-run discs is high-resolution inkjet printing... not sticky labels... and your web-quote will include full color inkjet printing on the discs. Other disc printing options are available (such as CMYK Offset or Silkscreen printing) but they are often more expensive due to the amount of set-up costs involved.
